Donny was born on January 17th, 1964 at Madigan General Hospital at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington to Manuel and Verdie Luciano. He was a native of Greensboro, NC. Donny also lived in Bluffton, SC. Donny was a traveler, drummer, chef, bartender among many other things. He was a drummer with several different drum circle in Charleston SC. He was a member of the band Steel Pterodactyls from West Virginia. Donny was also a part of the Mulberry Street Trattoria Restaurant Family in Bluffton. Donny was also a member of Bikers Against Bullies USA Beaufort, SC Chapter

Donny had a passion for drumming, riding motorcycles, being at the beach, kayaking and being with his family and friends. Donny also loved music! He worked security in Greensboro, NC for several famous bands and artists that came to town. Donny was known for his free-spirit, his ability to dance, and for his quick wit and humor. Donny had an infectious smile, a huge love of family and friends, and also a compassionate spirit where he always put others first. He made an impact on all the lives that he touched.

Donny was preceded in death by his father, Manuel, and his mother, Verdie. He is survived by his wife Paulette, his four children, Vania, John, Gabriel and Sterling. Donny is also survived by his three grandchildren Lillian, Anthony and Logan. He is also survived by his brother Ron, and his sister Angie , several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends in the Bluffton/Hilton Head, SC area. There will also be a celebration of life for family and friends in Greensboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations go to Bikers Against Bullies USA and earmark it for the Beaufort, SC Chapter in remembrance of Donny “Donzi” Luciano.
