Certified Death Certificates are the legal documents required to transfer assets following a death such as bank accounts, insurance policies, automobiles, stocks, bonds, and real estate. In most cases a copy must also be furnished to the Social Security Administration. You may order as many certified copies as you would like and they will be mailed to you via USPS Certified Mail. Most families order 7-12 copies.
The crematory fee is the exact cost of cremation as charged by the crematory and includes a temporary urn made of cardboard, plastic, or both. This fee may or may not be included in the package price depending on the state in which the cremation will be taking place.
